Conical concentric barrel, chamber with flats, London acceptance marks on the underside. Finely engraved tang, silver front sight. Was converted from flintlock to percussion ignition around 1840. Lock plate signed W.Bond, engraved with sunbeams, safety slide. Finely engraved, blued steel fittings. Checkered walnut stock with a silver monogram plate in the pommel, hinged ramrod. Length 29cm. Very good condition and function. Weapon of the famous London gunsmith William Bond, Lombard Street.
