Saber blade with a wide fluting, over half of which is finely hand-etched with weapon trophies, garlands, and scrollwork, with a torch in the center. The base shows remnants of old fire gilding. The tang is stamped “F. Hörster Solingen,” the reverse “Eisenhauer.” The iron hilt is openwork with scrollwork. The pommel has four grooves. The leather finger ring is intact. The grooved wooden grip is covered with ray skin. Blackened steel scabbard with two carrying rings. Length 101 cm, blade length 87 cm. The steel scabbard has dents on both sides at the bottom. The sword is in very good, worn condition, the hilt has patina.
