Podewils Lindner M 1858 Mod. II Rifle

Octagonal chamber with Bavarian acceptance marks and serial number, screwed-in barrel with serial number. Folding sliding rear sight up to 500 feet, front sight with milled slots for the bayonet lug. Lock plate with acceptance marks, Bavarian crown, and signed Amberg 1861. Lock with locking lugs and blued dust cover. Walnut stock, reverse side stamped GF, underside with B and other letters and serial number. Original cleaning rod with copper sheath and groove. Length 131 cm, barrel length 89 cm. Bright bore with four sharp rifling grooves with small, pinpoint nicks, rear section and chamber spotless. Locking lugs and safety groove sharp-edged. Strong spring with very good detent. Completely matching numbers. Chambered for M 58/67 paper cartridge. Due to its good condition and function, this rifle would also be suitable for a marksman.
