Straight wedge blade with double fullers. Ricasso deeply stamped Erfurt under crown, opposite side P.D. Lüneschloss Solingen. Stamped on the back W Krone 98. Rigid brass knuckle-bow hilt with an openwork eagle in relief and ruler’s initials, grooved wooden handle covered with fine dark gray fish skin, strong, double silver wire winding. Shell in front with regimental license plate LW.E.B.66. , brown-white finger loop. Handle parts with Prussian approvals. Black lacquered steel scabbard with clasp and loose ring. Total length 106 cm, blade length 86.4 cm, blade width 95.2 mm, thickness 7.8 mm. Scabbard paintwork, some minimal scratches, otherwise very good condition.
