Conical brass barrel with curved muzzle, signed “London” in a cartouche. Deeply struck London oval marks “GP” with crown and “V” with crown (Gunmakers’ Proof and View). Florally engraved steel breech screw. Flat lock plate with border engraving, signed “W. Ketland & Co.” Brass fittings with border engraving and a stylized flower on the trigger guard. Figured walnut stock with oval monogram plate. Original ramrod with black horn tip. Length 34 cm, barrel length 20 cm. Lock plate with minimal, cleaned rust spots, ramrod tube with a small dent, otherwise very good condition, strong springs, good detent.
