Conical barrel with high ridge and muzzle ring, octagonal chamber, stamped with crown and F W, side faces bear acceptance marks and the production date of 1872, as well as serial numbers. Flat lock plate stamped “Suhl” and Crown and V. C. S. (Victor Christian Schilling). Spring-loaded piston guard. Brass fittings finely stamped with Prussian acceptance marks, butt cap with rotating retaining ring. Overall length 38.5 cm, barrel length 22 cm, completely matching numbers. Barrel with a few minimal rust spots, otherwise in very good condition and functions perfectly with strong springs.
