Single-edged, sabre-like blade; the ricasso is stamped with an oval Baden acceptance mark and “Gebr. Weyersberg”. The reverse side is stamped “Solingen”. Leather washer; brass hilt. Crossguard stamped with a Baden acceptance mark and “A. 2430”. Grip features fine multiple grooves and is secured by two steel rivets. Broad pommel with a small peened tang end. Steel scabbard with a long carrying stud and an oval acceptance mark below the throat; the carrying hook bears a matching serial number. Total length 63 cm; blade length 48 cm. Scabbard shows minimal patina; otherwise in very good condition. Rare.
