Gold-plated DJV 2000 Jubilee Hunting Hanger
Wedge-shaped blade with ricasso stamped “35” and “Solingen”; fully etched with hunting scenes featuring game and a hunter. The reverse side bears a cartouche with the inscription “125 Jahre 1875 Deutsche Jägerschaft 2000” [125 Years 1875 German Hunting Association 2000] and “Aus Verantwortung für Wild und Natur” [Out of responsibility for game and nature]. Features a shell guard depicting the legend of St. Hubertus, a crossguard with terminals shaped like deer hooves, a pommel decorated with oak leaves, and a staghorn grip inset with the DJV medallion. The hilt assembly is heavily gold-plated throughout. Green leather scabbard with gold-plated locket and chape. Total length 50 cm; blade length 33 cm. Condition is like new.
